Dr Dennis Palms

Dr. Dennis Palms is an experienced professional currently serving as the Test Lab Manager at Glen Dimplex Australia since April 2024. Prior roles include Research Fellow at Flinders University from August 2022 to March 2024, and Staff Research Associate at the University of South Australia from June 2019 to July 2022. Dr. Palms has also worked as a Registered Teacher in Secondary Education for the Department of Education, South Australia, focusing on Chemistry, Maths, Science, and ICT from February 2015 to December 2016. Earlier experience includes roles as a Metrology Engineer at Carl Zeiss Vision, a Nanofabrication Technologist at the Ian Wark Research Institute, and both Research Associate (Post-Doc) and PhD candidate, with a focus on surface modification and characterization. Dr. Palms holds a PhD in Surface Modification & Characterisation from the Max-Planck-Institute for Polymer Research and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
