Kirsty James

Kirsty James has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Kirsty started their career at Cablex in 2001 as an HR Coordinator and stayed there until 2006. Kirsty then joined Melbourne and Olympic Parks Trust as a Human Resources Advisor from 2006 to 2011. Kirsty took on the role of Human Resources Manager - Acting at Melbourne and Olympic Park Trust for a brief period in 2011. Kirsty then worked as an Organization Development Advisor at the City of Whitehorse from 2011 to 2016. Currently, they are employed at Glen Eira City Council, initially as a Human Resources Business Partner from 2016 to 2022. Kirsty then transitioned to the role of Coordinator Organization Development and Partnerships until September 2022. Kirsty is currently serving as the Acting Chief People Officer at Glen Eira City Council since April 2022.

Kirsty James attended Swinburne University of Technology from 1991 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management and Services.
