Wade Hardtke has extensive experience in education and coaching, currently serving as a Business Teacher and Head Basketball Coach at Glenbard South High School since August 2006. Prior to this role, Wade worked at Glenbard East High School from August 2000 to June 2006 as a Business Teacher and Dean. Wade's career in professional support began at Real-Time USA Inc. as a Customer Support Representative from October 1996 to January 2000. Wade holds a Master's Degree in Business Education from Roosevelt University, obtained between 1998 and 2000, as well as a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from Angelo State University, completed from 1990 to 1994.

Where Excellence Is Tradition Glenbard Township High School District 87 is the third largest high school district in Illinois. Dr. David Larson is the superintendent of schools. Glenbard District 87 encompasses 45 square miles within DuPage County, a suburban area some 30 miles west of Chicago. The communities of Glen Ellyn, Carol Stream, Glendale Heights and Lombard lie within the district’s boundaries, along with portions of Bloomingdale, Hanover Park, Addison, Downers Grove, Wheaton and unincorporated areas. District 87’s four comprehensive high schools serve students in grades 9-12. These schools are: Glenbard East, 1014 S. Main Street, Lombard; Glenbard North, 990 Kuhn Road, Carol Stream; Glenbard South, 23W200 Butterfield Road, Glen Ellyn; and Glenbard West, 670 Crescent Blvd., Glen Ellyn.
