Chris Gleave

Chris spent the first 15 years of his career as a Quantity Surveyor, including stints at both Taylor Woodrow Construction and Jarvis Construction.

Joining McLaren Construction in 2005, he was promoted to Commercial Director in 2009 and was responsible for the Southern region’s commercial activities and a turnover in excess of £120m.

Chris has worked in almost all sectors including industrial, retail, commercial, residential, education, leisure, stadia, health and has extensive knowledge of many contract forms. As a co-founder of Glencar Construction, he has overall responsibility for the commercial aspects of the business and along with Eddie, takes a proactive and progressive stance on business leadership and strategy.
