Ian Best

Ian Best is an experienced construction professional currently serving as a Senior Estimator at Glencar Construction since April 2022. Previously, Ian held the position of Commercial Manager at MCS Build Ltd from March 2007 to April 2022, where responsibilities included comprehensive commercial management across various projects, covering estimating, value engineering, procurement, and final accounting. Ian also served as Managing Surveyor at Pettifer Construction from 1998 to 2007, overseeing the retail sector and managing numerous fast-track projects for major clients such as Somerfield and Asda. Ian holds a BSc (Hons) in Quantity Surveying from Birmingham City University and a BA in Business Studies from Liverpool John Moores University.
