Shahab Tabrizi

Shahab Tabrizi is an experienced professional in the mining and metallurgical fields, currently serving as a Senior Mining Analyst focused on zinc at Glencore since October 2022. Prior to this, Shahab worked at Ausenco as a Senior Process Engineer, leading significant projects such as the Yamana Gold Wasamac process optimization study and managing optimization studies for Probe Metals. Shahab's earlier roles include Mill Metallurgist at Alamos Gold Inc., where responsibilities included enhancing metallurgical performance in gold milling operations, and several positions at De Beers Group, where notable achievements included the successful installation of a photoanalysis system and leading optimization projects. Shahab began with a Minerals Engineering Internship at Vale and has a strong academic background, holding an MBA in Global Mining Management, alongside master's and bachelor's degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of Toronto.
