Alix Williams II, M.A., currently serves as Lead Staff Recruiter at Sunrun, focusing on the recruitment of solar sales consultants across 15 states since June 2019. Previous roles at Sunrun included Sr. Sales Recruiter and Field Canvass Manager, where responsibilities encompassed sourcing and screening candidates and managing field marketing operations, respectively. As an Adjunct Professor at Glendale Community College, Alix teaches Intro to Cultural Anthropology, engaging with students and integrating professional insights into the curriculum. Additionally, Alix co-founded the Polk Institute Foundation, a non-profit that provides entrepreneurship training to underserved Black and Latinx communities. Earlier experience includes talent acquisition roles at Randstad and Aerotek, specializing in manufacturing and warehouse recruitment. Alix holds a Master’s degree in Cultural Anthropology from California State University, Fullerton, and a Bachelor’s degree in Geological Sciences with a minor in Cultural Anthropology from UC Santa Barbara.
