Sevada Chamras is an experienced educator and administrator in the field of chemistry. Currently serving as the Division Chair of Physical Sciences and a Professor of Chemistry at Glendale Community College since August 2007, Sevada Chamras is involved in instruction, curriculum development, and the mentoring of adjunct instructors. Previously, Sevada Chamras held the position of Department Chair of Chemistry, focusing on faculty liaison activities and program review. Prior to the current role, Sevada Chamras served as an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Cerritos College and an Instructor of Physical Sciences within the Glendale Unified School District. Early career experience includes the role of Laboratory Coordinator for Organic Chemistry at UC Santa Barbara. Sevada Chamras obtained a Ph.D. in Computational Physical Organic Chemistry from UC Santa Barbara and holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from UCLA, along with transfer coursework in Chemistry from Glendale Community College.
