Full-Time Teacher on Call (TOC): Science and/or Math 

Middle & Senior School

Temporary, 1.0FTE position 

Contract term: September 4, 2024 - June 13, 2025

Position Overview 

The Full-Time Teacher on Call (TOC) is responsible for teaching various subjects across the middle and senior school. You will be expected to be comfortable with teaching all subjects and to be actively involved in co-curricular activities, which may include possible overnight trips. Your schedule will be provided each morning and will vary daily.

What You’ll Bring

The successful candidate will possess a valid BC teaching certificate (for K-12) and experience teaching science and/or math at the middle and senior school levels. You will have exceptional interpersonal skills to establish strong connections with students and colleagues. Being highly collegial and a collaborative team player is essential. You should have a strong aptitude for differentiated learning styles and a passion for educating the whole student. Additionally, you will have a strong knowledge of inquiry based and project-based learning approaches, along with experience integrating technology in the classroom to transform learning.
