Michael Shaver

Michael Shaver has had a long-standing career in education and coaching, beginning with a role as a Social Studies Teacher at Glens Falls City School District since January 1998, where responsibilities include teaching high school courses such as Global History and Geography, Government, Economics, and Mass Media and Communications. In addition to teaching, Michael serves as a Boys Varsity Soccer Coach and Political Action Coordinator, focusing on advocacy within public education. Coaching experience extends to roles at Empire City Soccer Academy as an Academy Soccer Coach/Trainer for U-14 boys and previous coaching positions at various soccer academies. Michael holds a B.A. in History from Buffalo State University and an M.S. in Social Studies Education from the University at Albany, SUNY.
