Padraig Smyth

Padraig Smyth is an experienced construction and project management professional, currently serving as a Contract Manager and Project Manager at Glent Group since May 2023. Prior to this role, Padraig worked as a Senior Project Manager for Turner & Townsend, focusing on the Irish Water’s Early Contractor Involvement delivery model. Project experience includes significant roles at Jons Civil Engineering, where various civil and structural projects, such as the M50 Traffic Flow Optimization and Royal Canal Premium Cycle Route, were managed. Previous positions include Highways Manager with Ferrovial, Civil Supervisor with Sierra Support Services Group, and Site Engineer with Thiess. Padraig holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Project Management from Trinity College Dublin and bachelor's degrees in Civil and Transport Engineering and Civil Engineering from Edinburgh Napier University and the Institute of Technology, Carlow, respectively.
