Quentin Murphy

Quentin Murphy M.S. has a wide range of work experience in marketing and communications. Quentin started their career in 2013 as a Resident Assistant at Glenville State University, where they successfully managed a floor of 50+ students and executed programs within the residence hall. In 2014, they also served as a Public Relations Executive for the Student Government Association, maintaining social media accounts and representing the university at recruiting events.

Quentin then moved on to Alderson Broaddus University in 2016, where they initially worked as an Admissions Counselor, traveling to high schools and college fairs to promote the university. Quentin also managed the social media presence of the Office of Admissions and served on the Special Projects Committee of the WVACRAO. Later, Quentin transitioned to become the Assistant Director of Marketing for Social and Digital Media at Alderson Broaddus University, where they were responsible for operating the university's social media accounts, creating content, and overseeing branding efforts.

In 2020, Quentin joined the West Virginia Department of Tourism as a Multimedia & Web Coordinator, where they were involved in various tasks such as video editing, web content optimization, and managing media partnerships. Quentin later took on the role of Research & Analytics Coordinator, where they analyzed marketing campaign data and provided recommendations for optimization. Quentin also monitored industry trends, prepared reports, and presented insights to enhance the customer experience.

Currently, Quentin is the Director of Marketing at Glenville State University, where they oversee the university's brand and develops and implements marketing and communication plans. Quentin also collaborates with the Creative Director on social media strategies.
