W. Matt M.

W. Matt M. has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2010, they worked at Healthways as a Proposal Development Coordinator and Technical Writer, where they were responsible for developing and writing proposals in the wellness and disease management sector. W. Matt also updated a knowledge database and wrote documents on health and wellness innovations.

From 2013 to 2022, they held multiple positions at different companies. At HCA, they worked as a Paralegal for two months before transitioning to Franklin American Mortgage Company as a Technical Writer. W. Matt then worked as a Food Server at Buca di Beppo for two months.

In 2013, they were involved as a Freelance Jackson musician and music event promoter, organizing music events for wineries and bars and hosting open mic nights. W. Matt also worked as a Technical Writer contractor at Auburn University from 2013 to 2017.

At Community Health Systems, W. Matt M. held various roles including IS Department Senior Systems Analyst, Senior Business System Analyst, and ServiceNow Scrum Master. These roles involved leading a scrum team, gathering requirements, testing, project management, and creating training and knowledge articles.

Additionally, they have been self-employed since 2013, where they founded Pickin' in the Park and partnered with the Spring Hill Parks Department for hosting and promotion duties. In 2022, Pickin' in the Park became independent and solely run by him.

W. Matt M. obtained a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from Nashville School of Law in the field of Law, completing their education from 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Master's degree in journalism from Ohio University from 1995 to 1996. Earlier, from 1991 to 1995, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Communications from the University of Tennessee at Martin. W. Matt completed their high school education at North Side High School (Jackson TN) from 1988 to 1991, where they received a High School Diploma with Honors. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including Certified SAFe® 6 Practitioner (twice), Legal Service Delivery - ServiceNow, ITIL 4 Foundation, and Certified System Administrator.
