Joanna Wu

Joanna Wu is a skilled Data Engineer currently employed at Glo since May 2022, where responsibilities include managing a SaaS product’s data and optimizing ETL/ELT pipelines using technologies such as PySpark, Python, SQL, AWS S3, Redshift, Redshift Spectrum, and Glue. Previously, as a Data Platform Engineer at Coherent Inc. from December 2020 to May 2022, Joanna built an ETL pipeline and led the development of a full-stack web application to support self-service analytics. Earlier experience includes serving as an Analytics Program Manager at INFICON, where Joanna consulted with clients to improve operational efficiency, and as a Process Engineer at Samsung Austin Semiconductor, leading initiatives to enhance product quality. Joanna holds a postgraduate degree in Data Science and Business Analytics from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science in Materials Science and Engineering from Texas A&M University.
