Edward Steckel

Edward Steckel has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Edward started their career in 1996 as a Supervisor of Material Logistics at Stihl Inc., where they were responsible for procurement and managing component shipments. Edward then moved on to BP, where they served as a Manager in operations and materials, overseeing manufacturing facilities and controlling raw material procurement.

Edward then worked for Fisher Clinical Services as the Manager of Distribution, handling the distribution of clinical trial protocols to various countries. Edward later joined CHEP USA, where they held multiple roles, including Manager of Strategic Planning & Analysis and Manager of Intercontinental Business, managing strategic operations and import/export movements.

Continuing their career in supply chain planning, Edward joined Air Products and Chemicals as the Global Supply Chain Network Optimization Lead. Edward was responsible for optimizing the global supply chain network, resulting in significant cost savings.

Edward also worked at Avantor Performance Materials, Inc., where they served as the Global Director of Planning. Their role involved stabilizing and optimizing the supply chain network and conducting RFPs for 3PL services to reduce costs.

In their most recent role, Edward became the Senior Director of Global Supply Chain at Global Advanced Metals, where they oversee the global supply chain operations.

Throughout their career, Edward has demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, inventory and procurement, planning, optimization, and strategic operations. Edward has consistently delivered cost savings and improvements to supply chain networks.

Edward Steckel obtained their MBA with a specialization in Supply Chain from Lehigh University between 1998 and 2006. Edward also attended Lehigh University from 1989 to 1993, although their degree and field of study during this time are not specified.
