Emily Bishop is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in socio-economic and policy research, particularly within humanitarian and international development contexts. Currently serving as a Senior Analyst at Global Affairs Canada since March 2022, Emily previously held various roles at the International Rescue Committee, including Senior Emergency Program Coordinator and Emergency Response Team Accountability Coordinator. Emily's expertise encompasses project management, monitoring and evaluation, and strategic planning, with a strong focus on accountability to affected populations. Past positions include oversight of monitoring, evaluation, and learning initiatives in the Central African Republic with Mercy Corps, as well as directing human rights programs in the Great Lakes region with Heartland Alliance.
