Firas Zuhairi

Firas Zuhairi is an experienced IT professional currently serving as the Head of IT/IS at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN) since January 2017. In this role, Firas oversees the IT infrastructure and information systems on a global scale within an organization dedicated to combating malnutrition. Prior to joining GAIN, Firas held several positions at Venn Group from March 2002 to January 2017, culminating as IT Manager, where responsibilities included budgeting, procurement, and IT strategy. Firas also served as a Senior Technical Specialist - Team Leader, overseeing the Help Desk team and ensuring high standards of project delivery, and began as a Systems Technician providing 1st and 2nd line support. Firas holds a BSc in Engineering & Business Management from the University of Aberdeen, completed in 2000.
