Anand Anandkumar

Anand Anandkumar is a prominent figure in the fields of biomedical engineering and antimicrobial resistance. Currently serving as a Member of the India Advisory Board for the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) and as a Board Member of the AMR Industry Alliance, Anand has demonstrated a commitment to addressing global health challenges. As the Founder and CEO of Bugworks Research Inc, Anand has spearheaded innovation in antibiotic development. Additionally, Anand holds a position as a Visiting Professor and Adjunct Faculty at The Institute of Trans-Disciplinary Health Sciences and Technology and serves as Managing Trustee for CHILD Trust. Anand's academic background includes a PhD and an MS in Electrical and Biomedical Engineering from The George Washington University, completed in the early 1990s.
