Peter Beyer

Peter Beyer serves as the Deputy Executive Director at the Global Antibiotic R&D Partnership (GARDP) and is the Chair of the Expert Advisory Group at the Medicines Patent Pool. Previously, Peter held multiple roles at the World Health Organization, including Head of Unit and Senior Advisor and Team Lead. Additionally, Peter worked as a Legal Advisor for International Trade Relations at the Swiss Federal Institute of Intellectual Property and served as a Senior Fellow at the Ecologic Institute in Berlin, Germany. Peter holds a Doctor iur. (PhD) in European environmental law from Universität Freiburg and completed the Zweites Staatsexamen (German bar exam) at Kammergericht Berlin.
