George Panou

George Panou MBA is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in digital innovation and technology within the financial sector. As the Head of the Innovation Center at Eurobank since April 2021, George leads efforts in exploring and implementing innovative technologies applicable to banking. In addition to this role, George serves as a guest lecturer on topics such as Digital Transformation and Fintech at various academic institutions, including Alba Graduate Business School, Nottingham Business School, and Esade. George also contributes as a mentor for startups and holds the position of Ambassador for Greece with the Global Blockchain Business Council. With qualifications from prestigious institutions like Cambridge Judge Business School and Imperial College London, George brings a strong academic background to the roles in innovation, advisory, and governance, including service as an Expert for the European Commission and a member of the Board of Directors at Hellenic Blockchain Hub.
