Jonah Kanter

Jonah Kanter serves as the Canada Director & Global Health Advocacy Lead at Global Citizen since June 2018, leading policy and advocacy campaigns in Canada and co-leading global health initiatives. Previously, Jonah held the position of Senior Manager, Canada Policy and Government Affairs, where significant achievements included co-leading a campaign that resulted in a $300 million commitment from the Canadian government for global pandemic relief. With experience at the Samuel Family Foundation, Canadian Civil Liberties Association, and various roles within government, including work with LGen Roméo Dallaire and the Office of Religious Freedom, Jonah has a robust background in advocacy, policy development, and communication. Jonah holds a Master of Global Affairs and an Honours Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and History from the University of Toronto.
