Ken Sams

Ken Sams has a comprehensive work experience spanning over three decades. Ken is currently employed as a Construction Manager at both Global Clean Energy Holdings and Bakersfield Renewable Fuels, starting in July 2021. Previously, in 2020, they worked as an Independent Consultant for the Construction Industry Institute. Ken also held the position of Project Manager, Large Capital Projects at Aegion Corporation from July 2020 to June 2021. Prior to that, they served as a Construction Superintendent, Major Projects at Marathon Petroleum Corporation from October 2018 to May 2020. From August to October 2018, they temporarily worked as a Construction Superintendent, Major Projects at Andeavor. Additionally, Ken held various roles at Andeavor from 2005 to 2018, including Battalion Chief, Emergency Response from 2005 to 2018, Superintendent, Refinery Construction from 2015 to 2018. In 2007, they worked as a Senior Construction Coordinator at Tesoro Corporation. Ken's early career includes roles such as Maintenance Supervisor at Shell from 2005 to 2007, and Director of Engineering & Construction at Samsco Engineering from 1989 to 2005. Furthermore, they served in the U.S. Navy Reserve as a United States Naval Reserve from 1989 to 1992.
