Sang Pak

Sr. Applications Engineer at Global Compound Semiconductor

Sang Pak began their career in 1996 as a Principal RF Test Engineer at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. Sang then moved to Maxim-IC in 2005, where they worked as a Principal RF Test Engineer (Semiconductor Professional's Group). In 2016, Sang Pak joined Global Communication Semiconductors, Inc. as a Sr. Applications Engineer. In this role, they performed on-wafer dc and RF load/source pulls to characterize and optimize devices RF performance such as P-1dB, Psat, Gain, OIP3, linearity, efficiency and noise figure. Sang also designed, prototyped and tested evaluation boards to optimize device performance for gain, output power and noise figure. Additionally, they prepared, verified and documented device models, design rules and cell libraries in Agilent ADS and Microwave Office AWR software.

Sang Pak obtained a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from California State University, Los Angeles, with a focus in Solid-state electronics.
