Varsha Shankar

Varsha Shankar is an experienced professional in trade and industrial policy, currently serving as an Associate at Global Counsel since July 2022. Prior experiences include roles as a Research Analyst focused on trade and manufacturing, a Young Global Professional at the Atlantic Council, and leadership positions with the Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program, where Varsha coordinated major summits and publications. Additional roles include project management at UPenn Consult for America and internships at the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia and Villgro Innovations Foundation. Varsha holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and a high school diploma from The American School in Japan.
