Gregor Robertson

Gregor Robertson is an accomplished leader in climate action and sustainable development, currently serving as the Special Envoy for Cities in the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy since April 2019. As a Global Ambassador, Robertson represents a vast network of over 12,000 cities in global forums addressing climate change. Prior to this role, Robertson was the Executive Vice President at Nexii Building Solutions, where Gregor played a pivotal role in the company achieving "unicorn" status within a short period. During a three-term tenure as Mayor of Vancouver from 2008 to 2018, Robertson garnered international recognition for the city’s advancements in climate action and livability. With a background as a co-founder of both Happy Planet Foods and Glen Valley Organic Farm Co-operative, Robertson has a longstanding commitment to sustainability which is further supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and English from Colorado College.
