Maria Feist

Maria Feist is a Grants Specialist at Global Disciples since July 2023, previously serving as a Development Associate at the Volunteer English Program, where the organization connects volunteers with adult English language learners. Prior experience includes a role as a Virtual Educator at Edmentum, engaging over 50 learners through personalized instruction and data analysis for multiple districts. As an ESL Program Specialist for the Downingtown Area School District from August 2005 to June 2021, Maria Feist enhanced English language proficiency for students from over 30 countries and developed curriculum based on state standards. Earlier, as a Literacy Coach at McGraw Hill, professional development was provided for K-3 teachers, focusing on literacy and tailored classroom support. Maria Feist holds a Master of Science in Education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Wesleyan University.
