Maria Jæpelt Petersen

Maria Jæpelt Petersen is Head of Copenhagen Fashion Summit at Global Fashion Agenda. In this role, she drives the overall project management of the Summit working across the organisation to ensure funding and media opportunities, streamline communications and ensure the strategic engagement with relevant stakeholders.

Petersen has worked with project management and communications in the fashion industry since 2012, first with Danish designer Vibe Johannsen and later at Copenhagen Fashion Week and Danish Fashion Institute.

She holds a BA in Intercultural Market Communication and a Master’s in Management of Creative Business Processes, both from Copenhagen Business School. She wrote her master thesis on Danish Fashion Institute’s work with sustainability.
