Jere Calmes

Jere Calmes is an accomplished executive with significant experience in leading e-commerce and telecommunications companies. Currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at THE ICONIC, Calmes oversees Australia's and New Zealand's leading online fashion platform. Previously, at Lamoda Group, notable achievements included expanding the platform to cater to approximately 4 million users and generating around €1.5 billion in GMV. Calmes has a history of driving structural transformations and improving operational efficiencies, exemplified during tenure at METRO Cash and Carry Russia, where more than 1,000 franchise stores were launched. Earlier roles also include CEO positions at Tele2 and Pharmacy Chain 36.6, along with key leadership positions at VEON and Wind Telecomunicazioni. Calmes holds a BA in Political Science and Economics from Bates College and has completed a program at The Wharton School.
