David Hanna has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. David is currently the President and CEO of Global Food and Ingredients Inc., a Canadian plant-based food and ingredients company. Prior to this, they were a Strategic and Financial Consultant in the Food and Commodities Sector, where they advised leading Canadian pulses and specialty crops processors and exporters. David also served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at BroadGrain Commodities Inc. from 2008 to 2017. Before that, they held positions as Vice President of Corporate Finance at Kruger Inc. and as a Financial Consultant, working independently. David'scareer began at National Bank Financial Inc., where they worked as a Vice President of Investment Banking.

David Hanna's education history begins in 1994 when they attended McGill University for their Bachelor of Commerce degree. David studied Finance & Accounting and completed their degree in 1997. Following this, from 1997 to 1999, they pursued their Master of Business Administration at the Schulich School of Business - York University, specializing in Finance and Economics. In 2000, they enrolled at the CFA Institute and obtained their CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification in 2002. In addition to their formal education, David Hanna holds a CFA certification, although it is unclear where and when they obtained it.
