Shyam Bishen

Shyam Bishen, Ph.D., MS, MBA, currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Global Alliance for Women's Health and PMNCH, as well as the Board Co-Chair for the Regional Vaccine Manufacturing Collaborative, which addresses inequities in vaccine production. Additionally, Shyam is a member of the Board of Directors for Innovations in Healthcare and holds the position of Head at the Centre for Health & Healthcare for the World Economic Forum. Shyam is also an Executive Committee Member for the Partnership for Health System Sustainability and Resilience and the Chairman of the Board for the Global Girls Scholarship Foundation. Previously, Shyam was the Regional Director at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and held various leadership roles at Merck and other international healthcare corporations. Academic qualifications include an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, a Ph.D. in Chemical Sciences from the University of Newcastle, a Management & Leadership Certificate from Harvard University, and an MS from the University of Lucknow.
