Eliza Pesuit

Executive Director at Global Glimpse

The daughter of a Serbian Orthox father from rural Ohio and a Russian Jewish mother from Boston, Eliza became comfortable with differences early on. She is passionate about connecting people from different backgrounds through shared experience and she believes deeply in the importance of supporting young people from all backgrounds to have access to educational opportunities that expand their perspective. Under her leadership Global Glimpse has grown more than ten-fold and expanded to serve over 1,000 students annually across 100 US public high schools. Eliza is skilled in organizational strategy, cross sector partnerships, financial planning, and board leadership and she is deeply committed to the community of students, families, educators, and staff who make Global Glimpse’s work possible. Eliza is bilingual in Spanish and English and has lived and worked across Latin America. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and she has received awards for her work from the Edwin Gould Foundation and the Jefferson Foundation. When not at work you can find her painting, going on outdoor adventures with her partner, gardening, hosting dinner parties, and volunteering with community organizations.
