Anil Parameswaran Thankam

Anil Parameswaran Thankam, Ph.D., is a Battery Scientist at Global Graphene Group since January 2022, focusing on the development of innovative polymer cathode materials for Lithium-Sulfur batteries aimed at enhancing electrochemical energy conversion and storage. Previously, Anil served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The University of Texas at Austin from September 2020 to December 2021 under the guidance of Dr. Arumugam Manthiram. Anil's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (2016-2020), where responsibilities included research and teaching as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant, specializing in functional polymeric materials for biomedical applications. Anil also holds a Master of Technology in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (2013-2015) and a Bachelor of Technology in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Mahatma Gandhi University (2008-2012).
