Ingvild Solvang

Ingvild Solvang is a seasoned professional in climate action, sustainable development, and social entrepreneurship. As the Director and Head of Climate Action and Inclusive Development at the Global Green Growth Institute since February 2017, Ingvild has also held positions such as Manager of Sustainability and Safeguards and Global Lead for Social Development and Gender. Ingvild co-owns ViaVia Jogja, a recognized sustainable tourism and social enterprise in Indonesia, celebrated for its incorporation of sustainable tourism principles. Prior experience includes founding Sustainable Results International, providing strategic management support to development and humanitarian agencies, and holding various roles at CARE and Jesuit Refugee Service, emphasizing women's entrepreneurship, rural development, and humanitarian accountability. Ingvild holds degrees in Social Anthropology, Creative Writing, and has studied Gender Studies.
