Julianne Hopper

Julianne Hopper is a dedicated public health professional with significant experience in mental health and substance use policy. Currently serving as a Program Associate for the Overdose Prevention Initiative at Global Health Advocacy Incubator since June 2022, Julianne previously held key positions such as an Office of the Director Intern at SAMHSA and a Mental Health and Substance Use Policy Research Intern with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Boston University. Contributions extend to research roles at Boston Medical Center and Massachusetts General Hospital, where Julianne focused on children's behavioral health and social determinants of health, respectively. Julianne also gained international experience with the IOM - UN Migration, working in the Migration Health Division. Currently enrolled at the University of Geneva, Julianne continues to expand expertise in the public health domain.
