Kate Konopka

Kathleen Konopka is an experienced legal professional currently serving as the Legal Director at Global Health Advocacy Incubator since May 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing advocacy and litigation efforts for global health programs across 40 countries. Previously, Konopka served as the Deputy Attorney General for the District of Columbia, managing a diverse portfolio that included antitrust and civil rights issues. Konopka has also held positions in various esteemed organizations, including as Counsel at Lieff Cabraser Heimann & Bernstein, LLP, where litigated complex antitrust matters, and Senior Enforcement Counsel at the New York Attorney General's Office, leading significant recovery efforts in civil litigation. With a foundational career at the U.S. Department of Justice in both the Antitrust Division and the Consumer Protection Branch, Konopka has developed extensive expertise in competition law and consumer protection. Educated at Northeastern University School of Law, Konopka holds a distinguished legal career marked by leadership and impactful litigation.
