Margaret Price

Margaret Price has extensive experience in the healthcare compliance field. Margaret is currently the Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer at AtriCure, Inc. Prior to this, they held the position of Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, Medical Devices at Abbott from 2017 to 2022, where they successfully built the compliance function from scratch and led a team of 15 professionals. Before Abbott, they served as the Chief Compliance Officer at Upsher-Smith Laboratories, Inc. from 2015 to 2017, where they drove process improvements and achieved clean DEA inspection and Sunshine Transparency reporting results. Margaret also worked at Medtronic as Principal Legal Counsel from 2008 to 2015, advising on corporate integrity agreements. Margaret started their career as an Associate at Faegre Drinker Biddell & Reath, providing expert legal counsel to healthcare providers. Margaret has demonstrated expertise in federal and state regulations, HIPAA compliance, Medicare, licensure, fraud and abuse, and telemedicine.

Margaret Price attended Wellesley College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science with a concentration in Political Theory, graduating with Magna Cum Laude honors. Margaret also obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree from Georgetown University.
