Jean Nepomuscene Uwurukundo

Jean Nepomuscene Uwurukundo is a Public Health Officer at the Ministry of Health Rwanda and a Public Health Fellow with Global Health Corps, both positions held since July 2023. As a co-founder and Programs Director at Health Promotion Organization since July 2022, Jean demonstrates leadership in public health initiatives. Previous experience includes a role as a Data Collector with the World Health Organization in late 2022 and internships focused on community and clinical nutrition at Gardens for Health International, KABUTARE District Hospital, and KARWASA Health Centre. Jean graduated with a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Human Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Rwanda in March 2022, following completion of a High School Diploma with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology at Groupe Scolaire Gahini.
