Victoria Mendoza

Victoria Mendoza is an experienced professional in public health and small business management. Currently serving as an Infection Prevention Coordinator through the Cal-PPH Fellowship Program at the University of California, San Francisco, Victoria is deployed to the County of San Diego Department of Public Health. Previous roles include leading the Covid-19 Outbreak Team and managing investigative efforts for respiratory outbreaks. As a small business owner of The Fencing Post since 1996, Victoria established the first mail order fencing store with a website and currently operates a mobile-friendly eCommerce site. Victoria’s extensive background also includes founding the San Diego Fencing Center, organizing youth fencing tournaments with the US Fencing Association, and holding various administrative and staffing roles in healthcare settings. Victoria holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Science from California State University-Hayward.
