Hazel Dalton

Hazel Dalton is an experienced researcher in rural public health, currently serving as a Senior Research Fellow at Charles Sturt University since August 2022 and as an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Mental Health Policy Unit at the University of Canberra since June 2023, where contributions focus on integrating rural mental health perspectives. Additionally, Hazel holds an Honorary Senior Lecturer position at the University of Newcastle since August 2014 and has held several roles within the Centre for Rural and Remote Mental Health, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to this field. Previous roles include Research Administration Officer at the University of Sydney and Research Scientist positions at the Centre for Cancer Biology and the University of Adelaide. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Biochemistry, both from UNSW.
