Emergency Operations Coordinator (eoc) at Global Health Strategies

Serge Blaise Emaleu, MD, is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in public health and infectious disease management. Currently serving as the Emergency Operations Coordinator at Global Health Strategies since February 2019, Serge is responsible for the implementation and management of Ebola response programs on a national level. Additionally, Serge has worked with the World Health Organization since February 2015 in various capacities, including as an Infectious Diseases Consultant and Infection Prevention and Control Expert. Previous roles include serving as a Senior Technical Advisor for the National Ebola Response Committee and as a Senior Clinical Research Scientist at Global Solutions for Infectious Diseases. Serge holds a medical degree from Russian People's Friendship University and multiple postdoctoral fellowships in Microbiological Sciences and Immunology from Stanford University. With a strong background in epidemic response, infection prevention, and health system analysis, Serge has significantly contributed to the development of healthcare protocols and training in multiple international contexts.
