Ian Leyden has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. From 2009-2011 they were a Caddy at The Beverly Country Club. From 2011-2014 they were an Assistant at Queen of Martyrs Rectory, where they did general office work such as answering the phone and door, making copies, and handling paperwork, as well as helping with dinner and dishes. From 2014-2015 they were a Laborer at Flame Furnace. In 2016 they were a Warehouse Worker at Mullins Food Products, where they stacked boxes off of a conveyor line, helped out where needed around the warehouse and factory, and cleaned and maintained machinery. In 2017 they were a Helpdesk Technician at Illinois State University and a Software Development Intern at Global Liquidity Partners, where they developed many C++ unit tests for company software, implemented continuous integration to automate the builds and run the tests, wrote Perl, Python, and Bash scripts to perform helpful tasks, and designed, developed, and maintained a web app for graphing market data.

Ian Leyden attended St. Rita of Cascia from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a High School degree. Ian then attended Illinois State University from 2014 to 2018, where they majored in Computer Science.
