Arturo Martinez

Arturo Martinez has worked in the IT industry since 1990. Arturo began their career at ABACO Grupo Financiero as an Enterprise Networking Specialist. In 1993, they joined Grupo Financiero InverMexico as a New Technologies Manager, where they wrote detailed specifications, application systems requirements and designing specifications. In 1996, they moved to Hewlett Packard Mexico as an IT Project Manager, where they were responsible for the Secure Electronic Payment System over Internet based on SET and SSL protocols. In 2003, they joined the Mexico City Attorney General's Office as IT Director, where they were accountable for the IT operation management and service delivery. In 2006, they moved to Inteli as a Sr. Project Manager and ITIL consultant, where they were responsible for the design and deployment of an IT Service Management System based on ITIL. Finally, in 2009, they joined Global Lynx de Mexico as a Project Manager and Risk and IT Governance consultant, where they were responsible for the design and deploy of an Information Security Management System based on ISO 27002.

Arturo Martinez has an extensive educational background. In 1989, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Computer Systems from Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana. Arturo then went on to earn a Master's degree in Computer and Information Sciences from Tecnológico de Monterrey in 2001. In 2005, they received a Diploma in Risk and Information Security from the same university. Additionally, they attended CECyT Lazaro Cardenas. Arturo has also obtained several certifications, including Project Manager Professional (PMP) from PMI Chapter Mexico in 2014, COBIT 5.0 Foundation Approved Trainer from ISACA, COBIT 5.0 Implementation Approved Trainer from ISACA, Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) from ISACA, ISO 22301: 2011 Lead Auditor from BSI, ISO/IEC 27001: 2005 Lead Auditor from BSI, ITIL v2 Manager. (ITILv2 Master) from Office of Government Commerce, ITIL v3 Expert from APM Group, and ITIL v3 Operational & Support Analysis Practitioner (OSA) from APM Group.
