Max Hartshorn

Max Hartshorn has diverse work experience in various roles. Max worked as a Team Lead and Newsroom Web Developer at Global News from 2014 to the present, leading a development team and providing data storytelling training. Prior to that, they were a Newsroom Web Developer at the same company, responsible for data cleaning, analysis, and acquiring new datasets. Max also worked as a Web Developer at Rich Media from 2012 to 2014. Max was a Research Analyst at Levitin Laboratory - McGill University from 2011 to 2012, where they conducted cognitive testing and analyzed experimental results. Max was a Freelance Contributor at Torontoist in 2010 and a Research Technician at McGill University from 2010 to 2010. Max began their career as a Web Copywriter at Virtual Dating Assistants from 2009 to 2010.

Max Hartshorn completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with Great Distinction at McGill University from 2003 to 2007. Max then pursued a Graduate Diploma in Computer Science at Concordia University from 2007 to 2009.
