Ed. Lamot

Ed. Lamot is a Senior Public Finance Management Specialist at Global Partnership for Education and World Bank Group since December 2013, focusing on enhancing aid effectiveness and optimizing public financial management systems for grants implementation. Previously held the position of Senior Education Specialist, leading country teams for Senegal, Burkina Faso, Niger, Mauritania, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Pacific Small Island Developing States. As an independent consultant from July 2012 to November 2013, Ed. Lamot evaluated sector-wide policies and supported public administration development. Prior experience includes roles as an Education and Budget Support Adviser for Belgian Technical Cooperation in Burundi and Burkina Faso, and as an Education Programme Specialist for UNESCO. Ed. Lamot holds an MSc in Development Studies from SOAS University of London and an MA in Politics and Modern History from The University of Edinburgh.
