Andréa Carter

As executive vice president and chief human resources officer for Global Payments, Andréa Carter is responsible for developing and leading all aspects of the company’s people and talent organization. In this role, she is responsible for human capital strategies, performance standards, enhancements to corporate culture and full engagement of a global, diverse workforce. With more than 20 years of experience in human resources, Andréa’s focus is on developing initiatives and executing strategies and programs that focus on building a world-class people and talent function.

Andréa joined the company in 2017 as senior vice president, human resources - corporate, international and talent management. Most recently, she served as senior vice president, human resources – merchant, supporting Global Payments’ worldwide merchant solutions businesses across North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America along with worldwide operations, risk management, product and real estate.

Prior to joining Global Payments, Andréa served as chief human resources officer for Habitat for Humanity. She has held various HR leadership roles in multiple industries and organizations such as Ralph Lauren, Newell Rubbermaid and The Home Depot.
