Derol Frye

Derol Frye has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they began working as a User Interface Designer for Global Personals, LLC, where they are responsible for user interface design, wireframing, and prototyping in Figma, as well as supporting front-end implementation of design with HTML, CSS, and JS. From 2015 to 2021, they worked as a UI/UX Designer for FriendFinder Networks Inc., where they engaged in rapid prototyping, researching with users, wire framing, specifying user flows, and designing user interface for web and mobile. From 2011 to 2015, they were the Creative Director for Derol Frye Design, where they collaborated with a variety of companies, in-house marketing, and brand teams to source web marketing solutions, create web and print design, and brand identity design solutions. From 2010 to 2011, they worked as Web Director for Surftech, where they collaborated with the marketing team and developed new strategies for building social network "fan bases". From 2001 to 2010, they were the Art Director for 57design, Inc., where they designed marketing and products (physical and virtual) that elevated companies to grow. From 1998 to 2001, they worked as Senior Designer for Grey Zone, a web technologies firm specializing in secure content management. In 1998, they also held a Freelance UI Designer role at Oracle. Finally, from 1996 to 1998, they worked as a Production Assistant and "Web Master" for Hispanic Business Inc.

Derol Frye attended Westmont College from 1993 to 1996 and received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology.
