Christian Escobarmora

Christian Escobarmora is an experienced photojournalism trainer currently at Global Press Journal since March 2019, specializing in Latin America and the Caribbean. With a strong academic background, Escobarmora taught photojournalism at Universidad Autónoma de Occidente from June 2011 to June 2017 and previously held teaching positions in photography at Pontificia Universidad Javeriana Cali and Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. A seasoned photojournalist, Escobarmora worked for major international news agencies, including Agencia EFE and The Associated Press, from 2007 to 2017. Earlier career endeavors included roles as a staff photographer for various publications and pioneering the Visual Narrative subject at LICEO CAMPO DAVID. Escobarmora holds a degree in Graphic Design from Universidad Nacional de Colombia.
