Güney Koçyiğit

Güney Koçyiğit has a diverse range of work experience. Güney is currently working as a Senior Data Product Team Lead at Global Savings Group since September 2020. Prior to this, they worked at CUPONATION as a Senior BI Manager specialized in Web Analytics from August 2018 to September 2020. Güney also held the position of Web Analytics Manager at CUPONATION, where they were responsible for tracking concept technical design, implementation support and testing, communication with stakeholders to define KPIs for tracking, and report automation script development using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager. Additionally, Güney worked as an IT Product Manager at CUPONATION from December 2014 to June 2015.

Before joining CUPONATION, Güney completed their MSc degree at Technische Universität München from October 2011 to October 2014. Güney also gained experience as a Software Developer during their Master Thesis Project at Weptun GmbH from March 2014 to September 2014. Moreover, they worked as a Software Engineer on an interdisciplinary project at Munich Innovation Group GmbH from April 2013 to February 2014.

Güney kick-started their career as a Trainee at Nethouse Networks, where they worked from July 2009 to August 2009.

Güney Koçyiğit earned a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering from Girne American University, which they attended from 2005-2010. Güney then went on to obtain a Master of Science (MSc) in Informatics from the Technical University of Munich, where they studied from 2011-2014. In addition to their formal education, Güney has also obtained certifications in "Building a Serverless Data Lake Bootcamp" from Amazon Web Services and "Google Analytics Individual Qualification" from Google in 2018 and 2016 respectively.
