David Kendig

David Kendig has over 20 years of experience in IT management, engineering, and software development. David started their career at CSC in 1983 as a Flight Dynamics specialist. In 2000, they joined Science Systems & Applications, Inc as a Lead Software Engineer. David then moved to Global Science & Technology, Inc in 2007, where they held the roles of Principal Engineer and IT Manager for NASA's NRESS Program. In these positions, they were responsible for coordinating and overseeing IT tasks, managing cost plans and service contracts, and supporting engineering efforts critical to NOAA archive objectives.

David Kendig received their Bachelor of Science degree in Astronomy from Penn State University, where they attended from 1979 to 1983. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Lampeter-Strasburg High School from 1976 to 1979. David later pursued Computer Science at The Johns Hopkins University from 1990 to 1994, culminating in their graduation in 1994.
