Swarvanu Dasgupta, PhD has extensive work experience in various roles.

Swarvanu started their career at CMC Ltd as a Software Engineer from August 2001 to August 2002.

Swarvanu then joined George Mason University as a Graduate Research Assistant from August 2002 to May 2007.

Since February 2007, they have been working as a Principal Scientist at Global Science & Technology, Inc.

Swarvanu Dasgupta, PhD, has a diverse education history. Swarvanu began their academic journey by completing their B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, and Statistics at the University of Calcutta from 1995 to 1998. Following this, they pursued a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA) at the Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology, Shibpur, from 1998 to 2001.

Driven by a passion for computational sciences and informatics, Swarvanu pursued a PhD at George Mason University between 2002 and 2007, focusing on this field of study. Their research and academic achievements led to the successful completion of a PhD in Computational Sciences and Informatics.

In addition to their formal education, Swarvanu Dasgupta has continued to enhance their expertise and keep up with advancements in data science and machine learning. Swarvanu obtained certification in "Data Science and Machine Learning: Making Data-Driven Decisions" from MIT Schwarzman College of Computing in April 2022.
